Our language reflects an inner knowledge of intrusion, not of our own doing. “What got into me?” “What possessed me to do that?” “I’m not myself today.”
In our practice over the past 30 years, these four issues are most frequently a part of a session: dark force interference, spirit attachment, soul/mind fragmentation, and limitations and issues that originated in past lives can and do show up in most people most of the time. Age, race, creed, intelligence, church going and clean living are not a defense against interference. It is important to realize there is never just one intruder; just as there is never one flea on a dog.
In the past twenty years, dark force entities and the classic demon show up in nearly every session. Having worked with thousands of people, it is commonly seen that darkness of some kind is a major cause of problems in life. This type of entity is well documented throughout the religious and secular history of humankind, and in this day and age it may well be considered the major cause of devastating experiences of universal proportion. The SRT work has proven to be highly successful in removing the demonic, and healing the devastation it has caused in people, families, governments, religions and nations.
The possibility of spirit possession, that is full or partial takeover of a living human by a discarnate entity, has been recognized, or at least theorized, in every culture and time. A disembodied consciousness may attach itself or merge with a living person. Soon it exerts its behavior, thoughts, ideas, emotions, memories and choices, eventually taking over the life of the host; and opening the door for many other attachments. When these attachments are safely taken home to the Light, the client may reclaim her/his life and enjoy the life that was meant to be theirs.
Across time even to the present, the indigenous people have always known that the soul and/or mind can vacate the body, or be stolen or taken from the body, leaving a person vulnerable to many consequences. From the past to the present, soul-mind fragmentation is a common condition described in the idiom of our languages: “I’m not all here today!” “Part of me wants to do this, and part of me wants to do that.” “I feel like I’m falling apart.” “I can’t keep it together.” “I’ll give you my heart.” “I gave him a piece of my mind!” “I feel like I’m falling apart.” Having many causes and consequences, soul-mind fragmentation occurs in most everyone, sometime; and it is cumulative lifetime after lifetime. It is not unusual to be left with but a small part of our God-given soul-mind leaving us vulnerable and unprotected. The reclaiming and gathering of the soul-mind can heal the scars of the soul.
Though some people think past lives are not important, in our work they can be essential to healing. In clinical practice we discover that present life conflicts and problems often stem from traumatic events in prior lifetimes. When the client is prompted to locate the source or cause of the problem, it is often located in the past. This leads to a pain-filled memory in another time, another place. Many physical ailments, unexplained issues and traumas, limitations and fears, began in the far distant past, and repeat over and over, lifetime after lifetime. Healing of physical, emotional and mental ailments, finding one’s purpose in life, and leaving the past behind that one may be fully present now, often occurs in a past life session.
